Making good movies comes down to
Plot/acting/cgi(special effects) decent scrore/producer
This being an action movie the producers got it right.
Fast paced, editing great. How many times we see a good plot and the producers over kill the movie by either adding a terrible score/ slowing down the movie scenes with slow motion etc.
Michael Bay gets full marks for his touch of magic.
The cast was great and story telling was great also.
One can not add new plots these days as with so many movies how do you add a new spin to movies.
Rather use the ingredients of a good movie and just perform the magic. When you try to over compensate these ingredients, movies usually fall short.
With 6 underground as an ardent movie fan I thought they ticked all the boxes and delivered a great package.
The opening scene was fast paced great car scene and driving at its best. Many movies like fast and furious etc go overkill on cgi/special effects and forget what makes people come to the movies for their love of cars. They over compensate and make the movie scene humanly impossible And kill a good story line.
6 Underground had the underpinnings of a great movie
Decent plot, story line and great action. There was never a dull moment. Really liked it sadly it never played on IMAX (or big screen) where it would have truly shined.
I was fortunate enough to watch it on a projector with Dolby atmos soundbar which added the cinema effect.
Thank you Netflix for this great movie in my opinion shines like the good old classics such as bad boys.
